“Bloom Where You Are Planted” Campaign

In the past few months we have been discussing Vision and Growth. I have tried to emphasize the fact that “without a vision, the people perish” and “if you’re not growing, you’re dying”. In order for us to be prepared and share in the vision the Lord gave our Pastor Rick for the Summit, it is important that we proactively pursue making a difference in all the people we come in contact with and realize that God has us there, at that particular time, with a plan. A plan to use us in such a way that we will impact even what may seem to be the most insignificant encounter or meeting. We may be the only concept of God that they will ever see and it is up to us to make it a positive and encouraging experience. We must allow the Lord to use us in any way He plans for our lives and do it now. Life is too short. Don’t put off for tomorrow that which is expected of us today. For we have no time for sure except for the present. Be the best you can be of Him today and share the Good News now and every time. Remember, the best sermon sometimes doesn’t need any words. Sometimes, it’s as easy as a smile.  

In 2007, we were unable to meet twice a month as most Home Groups did, which unfortunately allowed our attendance to reflect what seemed to be a decrease in our numbers. Numbers are not important, but growth is. In order to encourage everyone to start inviting friends and family and all women you encounter to our Home Group, I have decided to award a $100 gift card to Ruth Chris’s restaurant to the person that brings the most guests to our home Group during the months of May and June. It is truly a memorable eating experience and the service is excellent. I plan to give away the card on Friday, June 22, 2007. So, I hope you are as excited about this “growth campaign” as I am, and I look forward to meeting all our new friends real soon.
